In December, Club Med will be opening its new flagship location in the heart of the Franco-Italian Alps: Club Med La Rosière. Club Med is the largest mountain resort operator in Europe and Asia and is reasserting its global dominance in this sector.

This winter will also see the launch of the first Club Med Exclusive Collection resort in
the Seychelles. This range of resorts is unique in its market and is symbolic of sharing in a new level of luxury, combined with the legendary Club Med spirit.

In order to meet the requirements of its upmarket and demanding clientèle, Club Med is looking for 2,000 professional, motivated and talented G.O and G.E.

  • 90% of candidates hired will be assigned to one of the 18 Alpine resorts;

  • 70% of the positions available are in hotel and catering services,

  • Increase in specific job vacancies for Club Med Exclusive Collection, associated with
    the development of the range.

Over 2,000 positions available

Club Med is a benchmark employer in the tourism and hospitality sector, and every year hires personnel for
its resorts in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. The company hired almost 5,000 new G.O and G.E working in 120 professions in 2019. To allow interested candidates to live the Club Med experience, the group will be organising a number of events for its future G.O and G.E, starting in September. In light of government health directives, recruitment sessions and events will be predominantly digital and will take place in partnership with institutions with a regional presence, such as Pôle Emploi (French Job Centre), access points for employment and social services, seasonal employment centres, etc.

Club Med offers more than just a job. G.O & G.E get to live an amazing experience that challenges them now and transforms them forever.

Covid-19 managers (“Safe Together manager”) stationed at the Resorts

The Safe Together manager reports directly to the Resort manager (Chef de Village) and is the authority on
the standard operating procedures and standards for Covid-19 at the Resort. This winter, 25 professionals will be the main liaison with local authorities and Club Med staff within the resorts, and will be responsible for ensuring that barrier gestures are respected.

Cristal POSI-Check Audit: very good results

POSI-Check, awarded by the specialised firm of Cristal International Standards, is an auditing solution for preventing the spread of infections in the hotel sector. The audit began in July. The results obtained for
our European resorts are excellent, with an average of 92.8%, well above the 80% required.

Club Med Exclusive Collection, a new vision of luxury

Club Med saw a new chapter in its history in 2018, with the opening of the first 100% Club Med Exclusive Collection resort in Europe, in Cefalù, Sicily. Club Med Exclusive Collection is a testament to the move upmarket launched in 2004, and allows guests to experience a new level of luxury. This resort combines refinement, sense of detail, consideration of each guest, with kindness, simplicity, authenticity of relationship and the festive spirit of Club Med.

The exceptional Club Med Exclusive Collection products (Resorts, Villas & Chalets, Cruises on the
Club Med 2, Club Med Exclusive Collection Areas in 4T Resorts)
require behaviours and professional skills specific to the luxury sector and are marked out by their approach, thanks to the Club Med spirit. Today, almost 10% of G.O and G.E around the world work in the Club Med Exclusive Collection range. Recruitment for this range is set to increase with the arrival of new Exclusive Collection areas and resorts by 2022. Club Med has chosen to adopt a mixed strategy, i.e.:

  • Consolidating skills and organising dedicated training courses internally with well-renowned partners;

  • Sourcing external talents trained to a high level and/or with experience in luxury establishments; Not forgetting highly sought-after soft skills such as a sense of service, team spirit, emotional intelligence and creativity, in line with the Club Med spirit.

In order to offer an impeccable experience, Club Med is also joining forces with the major institutions that train the elite in cuisine and accommodation.
